Crude Soybean Oil

Crude Soybean Oil is a natural vegetable oil extracted from soybeans, mainly composed of triglycerides of fatty acids such as linoleic, oleic, palmitic, and linolenic acids. It does not have a single chemical formula or molecular weight due to its complex mixture. It appears as a yellow to dark yellow viscous liquid with a characteristic fatty odor. It is insoluble in water and soluble in organic solvents. It may contain impurities like phospholipids, free fatty acids, and gums.
In terms of uses and applications, Crude Soybean Oil is widely used as a raw material in the edible oil refining industry. After refining, it is used for cooking oil, margarine, and food products. It is also used in the biodiesel industry as a renewable feedstock for fuel production.
